Pop of colour

Hey lovelies

A pop of colour is needed in my wardrobe as the majority of my clothes are either white, black or grey. I like sticking with the good old monochrome but I want a change. And since it's nearing spring, I think it's about time to add colours to my outfits.

To start it all of, I bought this gorgeous trousers from zara in black with orange floral prints all over it. I am literally in love with it because it's not a big step forward for me as the main colour is black but that pop of orange just makes an outfit a little more interesting. I also love how it has faux leather going all around the edges, it adds more texture. I love pairing it up with gold jewellery such as a big gold statement necklace with a simply black top. It only cost £7.99! If you don't think that's a bargain, I don't know what is, especially with the fact that it's from the trusty old zara. Zara's quality is incredible. So I suggest that you should have a little trip to your nearest zara and have a look at their sales;) Here's a picture of how I would personally wear it:

Trousers - zara
Top - Sahari
Necklace - H&M
Bracelet - New look
Bag - Dorothy Perkins
Sunglasses - BANK
Shoes - H&M

Next is a little bit more daunting. The colour of this jeans I've recently purchased really attracts attention. Topshop jeans are perfect in my opinion, they just fits in perfectly and they are super comfortable, no joke! An this one was in sale, I just couldn't resist it with the price of £16. The colour itself is absolutely beautiful, it's like an orangy coral which is one of my favourite for spring/ summer. Again I would just pair it with a simply black top, jewellery and bright lip gloss as glossy lips are the latest trend!

Jeans - Topshop
Top - Topshop
Shoes - (wrecked) converse
Bag - (I don't know sorry)
Sunglasses - Primark
Bracelet - Accesories
Lip gloss - NYC

These two are a big statement piece for your wardrobe and you can wear t all year round.Although it would be perfect for this time of the year as we nearing spring. Spring in the UK is still absolutely freezing so jeans and trousers are perfect.

I hope this makes you think of stepping out of your comfort zone in terms of fashion as this for me is scary. That sounded over exaggerated but honestly, my clothes means a lot to me as it kind of interpret who I am. I hate going out of the house when I hate what I wear as it doesn't make me feel confidence and it would just ruin my entire day. And I've been loving wearing these since the day I bought it! I can not wait till spring and summer now! I have a feeling it would be a good one.

Valentines Day

Hey lovelies, how are you all doing?

As you probably know, it is indeed Valentines Day today. Happy Valentines Day if you're celebrating it with that special person whether if you're going out for a meal or if you're staying in.

I personally don't know how I feel towards valentines day. I have mixed opinions towards it. Sometime I feel like it's so pointless, if you really do love that person then why not celebrate it everyday, spend everyday with them, treat them everyday with care and with what they deserve. On the other hand, I feel like it is important as it means that your partner can save up and spoil you. I could imagine that it would mean a lot if that whole day is dedicated to you, like it's all about you and your partner. It would make them special in some way or another I guess. I really don't know. I'm doubting whether if it is appropriate and needed or not as some might feel pressured to get a boyfriend/ girlfriend before that day.
Some would feel isolated or left out as others who celebrates it would talk about it all day; which is understandable but it could affects how others feel. And decorations are up everywhere, even websites. You just can't escape seeing or hearing the phrase "valentines day"

If you are going out for a meal, here's some tips that I would follow.
Dress elegant, girly, wear the best clothes you own, the best which makes you feel confidence. Wear it with pride!
Enhance your body, by this I mean, don't wear too much makeup, wear it to make you feel more confidence and wear clothes that is comfortable.
And just be yourself. Valentines day is all about you and your partner. If you can't be yourself then why be with them? If they love you, they'll love you for who you are. Just don't try to be someone who you are not as it could possibly ruin the day.

But if you're staying in, eating pizza and just watching films with your boyfriend/ girlfriend (which is what I'm doing except alone lol) just BE YOURSELF! You're spending it with the love of your life, enjoy the time!

I'm spending it with the love of my life...

Thank you for reading and I hope you're having a great day.
